This is a little update on my life…

My beautiful baby boy is now 5 1/2 months old! He is almost crawling and getting some teeth in as well. He is eating solid foods and does so well with that. Also, the best part, he sleeps all night (I really couldn’t have asked for a better baby!).

I am going on vacation to visit my mom and other family in Alabama in less than one week! I will be gone for over a month! My son will come with me and then my husband will be following a couple weeks later. My mom is so excited to get her hands on her grandson, and I am excited to have a break …works great both ways!

The temperature here has been in and around the 50′s for the past few weeks or so, and in Alabama it has been in or around the 80′s…and the past couple days it has been in the 90′s! I can’t wait for sunshine and family…doesn’t really get much better than that.

Also, as you already can see from my previous couple posts, I have started my own shop of handmade things called Hagen’s Handmade Gifts and it is a lot of fun and has kept me pretty busy.

Well today is a good day for cleaning, so I better get to it (laundry and dishes seem to NEVER end!).

As I mentioned in my previous post, my friend and I are starting our own website, which will be selling handmade products that we make.

Some of the items we will be selling (and there will slowly be more and more items):

We are also open to suggestions, so please let us know if there is something else that would be a great gift to sell at our store.

My baby boy is not even 4 months old yet, and he is already in 6 month clothing! He is growing up so fast!

He is getting his own personailty and it is SO fun to watch him grow up.

Also, he was dedicated this past Sunday, which was awesome and I can’t wait to tell him about the Lord!

On a complete side note, my friend and I are starting our own business of handmade things, such as; hats, fabric flowers, headbands, bottle warmers, and much much more! We are currently working on the website as well as the products and as soon as we have the website up and running I will post it letting you all know! Also, if you guys have any suggestions as to what we should sell, please let us know! We are open to suggestions!

We will mostly be crocheting and sewing…so any ideas would be wonderful!

Back to my son, hehe…. There is a stroller exercise group that is starting this Monday and I am so excited to go! It will be a great way to exercise since I haven’t been doing a whole lot on my own. I have lost almost all my weight from having my son, but I would like to not only look in shape, but also to feel in shape! I always feel so much better after I exercise!

Today I am getting together with some friends and family just to hang out, so I am looking forward to that. I miss my family so much, but cannot wait to go back to Alabama to see them.

I am leaving May 21st for Alabama and get to stay until June 28th! I will be taking my son, so that will be an adventure carrying him with his car seat and diaper bag through the airport. Not to mention, he will be older and bigger, so that means heavier (great! …he is already heavy to carry very far in the car seat)… I am sure I will make it, I will just be really sore and tired when I get there! It is well worth it though!

Cannot wait!!!

Tomorrow is Wednesday, therefore Baby Story Time at the local library. My son enjoys it and so do I as much, if not, more than him. Watching him smile and laugh is the highlight of my life.

Currently we have quite a bit of snow on the ground here, so as long as the roads are clear we will be going to story time…if not, then we will have our own story time here at the house.

Tonight, when my husband gets home, we are headed to his parent’s house for dinner. His sister and her three girls are visiting from Canada and we get to go over there and spend some time with them. I am really excited as she hasn’t ever met our son!

I have been searching the web like crazy for online jobs…which is really hard to do with all the scams out there. I think I found a couple legit ones and I am currently going through the application process with both companies. The application process has taken about a week so far, and I am really eager to see if I get the job…as I have been trying to find a legit online job since before I was pregnant.

House chores are calling my name. I better go and get all the dishes and laundry done…and get ready for dinner in the next hour.
