Just an update...

I got a hold of the lady and she still said no, so I went through my insurance and they are going to negotiate with the other insurance, and if all else fails, then I guess it will come down to small claims court! I need my car fixed, and since I didn't damage it, I am not paying for it. So we will see how this goes...I have a feeling that this is going to be a long drawn out issue that is going to be a pain in my butt!

Well I gotta get back to work...

It is a big enough hassle dealing with the insurance company, but then having them come back and say that both drivers were equally at fault, just takes things to the next level! If you are in a car that is still and someone backs into you...how in the world are we both at fault? It just makes me so frustrated! I have been trying to call the insurance back this morning and so far she hasn't answered. Once I get a hold of her, I am not entirely sure what to say, but all I know is that I will have my car fixed, and I will not be paying for it. The other driver admitted more than once that it was her fault and that she just didn't see me...well hello!!! If you don't see someone and you hit them, then obviously it is your fault! ARRGGG! I am just frustrated and annoyed that the insurance company came to that conclusion without even being there...how do they know what happened? They based their theory of what happened off of the damage to both vehicles...well the other driver's car wasn't damaged at all!!!, so you tell me how by accessing the damage they came to the conclusion that we were both backing up! Anyways...I am trying to get a hold of them sometime this morning and see what I need to do legally in order to have my car paid for!

Well I am going to try and call the lady again...

Yesterday was some day! To use my own words, yesterday is when I saw the downs of life. After a nice lunch with my mom at Red Robin, I was leaving the parking lot and was rear ended! It was completely the other driver's fault, and now I play the whole stupid game with their insurance company. Why are insurance companies so hard to deal with?

Well hopefully I will be able to get my car fixed soon! I will get to drive a rental car while my car is being fixed, which I am kind of excited for!

The hit didn't actually damage my car bad at all, but it did just enough to the bumper that they have to replace the whole thing, as well as my tail light cover.

It was really not a BIG deal, but it is a HUGE inconvenience! Well enough about that...

 

Last night I watched the Biggest Loser, and I was sad to see Filipe get voted off, but I think he has a great shot at winning when they all come back for the finale! I am so excited to watch next week's episode, because the final four were sent home for 30 days and then they will come back and weigh in...I am anxious to see how well they do when they get put back out into the "real world".

Well I need to finish some things up here at work...I will write more later...(especially with updates about the whole insurance/fixing my car thing!)

So we (my fiance and I) went yesterday evening to get our wedding bands...and luckily we found just what we wanted. It surprisingly took us only about an hour to find them.

We went in several stores looking, but none of them had anything we liked. The rings that we ended up getting were from Kay Jewelers. We had to order them, so I think they will be in by mid to end of May.

Well I better get back to work...

It is almost 5pm CST here, which means it is almost time to go home! YAY! Tonight after work I am going with my fiance to pick out wedding bands, so that is exciting!

I am very excited for my up and coming wedding that is going to be on the 6th of June! It is going to be such a special time! Luckily it is going to be a small one, so not much planning needs to be done.

Well I better get going so I can wrap things up here at work, and then head to the jewelry store. Bye!

It's Monday, which means it is time to get back to work...

Atleast I can say that the weekend was gorgeous and I got to enjoy lots of time outside in the sun! We did a few projects outside, but the main one was finishing the privacy fence, which we did complete. It was a lot of work and I sure am glad that it is all done!

This past weekend I also had a test on the New Testament in my Bible class I am taking every Sunday night! I think I did pretty well, considering not having a whole lot of time to study...

I am very excited for tomorrow, since the Biggest Loser will be on! I enjoy watching that show and I do anything in my power not to miss it...and if I do I just record it and watch it as soon as I can.

Well I guess I need to actually get back to work...

Today was a nice, bright, and sunny day, which meant it was sure to be a good one...and it was! Work was pretty busy, but I got off an hour early so I could enjoy the beautiful weather outside!

As soon as I got home, I let my dog (a lab mix)out to play. His name is Duke! Let's just say that his name suits him well... Anyways, we (Duke and I) played outside for about an hour or so, and then I came inside..and that is where I am now.

Tomorrow is supposed to be just as gorgeous, and I am very excited (it is about time it gets warm...after all I live in Alabama!)to be able to stay outside all weekend!

We are going to be extremely busy this weekend...with putting up a privacy fence, replacing some of our flooring, and going to church! It is sure to be an exciting one!

Well I am going to go and get a little bit of TV watching in before I head to bed. Goodnight!
