The other day I was talking to my dad and it sounds like he is showing signs of internal bleeding...Let me tell you the whole story...

About 9-10 months ago, my dad went in for a triple bypass and of course they do massive amounts of testing when you are there. So they found some nodules on his lungs and told him to come back in 3-6 months to see if they have grown or shrank. If they have grown, they were going to take samples to test for cancer.

My dad, being the stubborn man he is, hasn't gone in to check and see if they have grown or shrank and now he is showing signs of internal bleeding (very common in people with cancer). I have tried talking to him, but he is way too stubborn. I am just lucky that he went in for the "emergency" heart surgery. He told me when they found that most of his arteries were fully clogged he would NOT go under the knife...and with a LOT of persuading, he finally did it. I think he feels quite a bit better, but is starting to get bad again (I think it is due to the nodules that he has on his lungs).

So, now my job is to try and persuade him to go into the doctor, just to see what they look like and nothing more! I know for a fact he will NEVER do Chemo/Radiation, because he had to watch my step-sister do it for almost 5 years and lose the battle. He saw all the pain she was in, all the sickness she had, and he doesn't want to go through it. I don't really blame him, but he doesn't realize that he has a lot of people that care about him.

It has been almost 4 months since my step-sister past away, and I think a lot of his "pain/illness" may have to do with the emotional pain he is feeling after losing her. Eventhough he wasn't her father, he was the only dad she ever knew, so they had a pretty close bond, just like me and my dad used to.

That isn't really the way I wanted to start out the day, but I know that everything is in God's hands and HE is in complete control over this and every other situation.

For instance, my step-sister's family keep asking "Why God, Why?". I can honestly say that NO ONE knows why a little girl was taken from us except God. When we get to Heaven we will know exactly why that happened to her...plus I am jealous of her...she is in Heaven as we speak(that is such a comforting thought)!

Recap of the shows...

So on Monday was The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and boy was it interesting. Adrian thought that Ricky did more with Amy than just kiss her, so to get back at the both of them she slept with Ben (which was Ricky's friend and Amy's "true" love). So Ricky runs off (show ended with no sign of Ricky) and Amy is obviously very upset. Adrian feels awful and pretty much cries the whole time, but she got what she deserved! Anyways...I can't wait til next week!

On Make it or Break it, the main character has a the surgery to allow her to do gymnastics again..but she keeps telling her friends and family that she hasn't gotten the okay to start training again when really she has, she is just too scared. All of the bad things play in her mind when she steps up to the bar...so she always backs away. Well, finally at the end, her mom has a voicemail from the physical therapist asking how she has been doing since he has given her the go ahead.... I just really hopes she gets back on the bar and continues her dream.

Yesterday night 16 & Pregnant was on. This time it covered a girl named Nikkole. Her boyfriend, or should I say Ex is horrible, he cheats on her, talks to her mom like crap, but yet she still loves him...after all they do have a baby together. I just hope that he matures (ALOT) throughout the show and steps up and takes responsibility and starts treating Nikkole and her mom better! Next Tuesday they will show another girl...so that will be girl number 3 out of 10! Once they introduce them all, then it will go from 16 & Pregnant to Teen Mom (which is way better!).

Yesterday after work I went and got my hair and nails done for a change...I really like my hair. All I got done was highlights but more of a caramel color.

Tonight we have church and then we will probably need to go to the grocery store on the way home...as we are running low on a lot of stuff.

Work has been going well and I should probably get back to it before I go grab something for lunch.

Yay! Tonight The Secret Life of the American Teenager is on!...as well as Make it or Break it! I am way excited about them tonight! I will let you know what happened in tomorrow's post!

Also, I have to put all the laundry away tonight...

So I thought about writing stuff on this blog about celebrities and my opinions about their actions and just them in general, and I think I am going to move forward with that idea...maybe starting tonight...or sometime soon. I think it will make this blog for entertaining!

Work today went by really fast and I felt like I got a lot done (which is always a good feeling!).

I get to go home in a little less than an hour! Yay!

I am so glad that it is Friday (and almost time for me to get off!). We really have nothing planned for this weekend, so that means there will be lots of relaxing...in fact it is going to finally be nice this weekend - like up to 60 outside (that is warm, considering we had ice on teh ground Monday and Tuesday of this week). All we really need to do is some laundry - which isn't that big of a deal.

Work went really well this week. It went by quick and I felt like I got a lot done.

Alright, so I have an idea of something that I might want to start doing here on this blog. I might just start talking about Celebrities and all the latest news! It will give me something to write about more often, and probably something entertaining for you (the readers) to read. I will probably start this tonight or tomorrow...just to get things started.

Well, first off, on Monday there was Secret Life of the American Teenager followed by Make it or Break it. On the Secret Life, Amy tells her dad that yes she did kiss Ricky, but it wasn't like she thought it was going to be and there was just nothing there. Then, Ben stops by, then finds out that Amy kissed Ricky (even though Ben and Amy haven't been together in awhile), so Ben leaves. When Ben is still sitting in his car outside Amy's house, Adrian goes out there and I think (might show it in the next episode) she and Ben do something that will change the show completely. See, Adrian thought that Ricky and Amy did more than just kiss, so she wanted to get Amy back by doing something with Ben. That was how the show ended, so I can't wait to see what next week's episode will be like!

Second, Make it or Break it was great. The show is basically about 4 gymnasts and their lives. One is the best, but she has a horrible accident and is no longer able to do gymnastics..but in the last episode, a doctor contacts them after hearing her story and says that she can perform a surgery than can pretty much guarantee that she can do gymnastics again. So at the end of Monday night's show, she is going in for surgery. I am excited to see how well she does at gymnastics after the surgery!

The third show, 16 & Pregnant was on last night. The girl's name was Jenelle. Her and her mom don't get along at all, which might get annoying throughout the season. She did have a boyfriend of 3 years, Andrew, also the father of the baby, but at the end of the episode they broke it off...he was in jail for a second or third DUI...so she is way better without him! Ever since she broke up with Andrew, her and her mom have started to (slowly) get along...so hopefully that will continue to improve. I am not sure when teh next episode is on, but I believe that they will introduce another girl to the show.

Back to reality! Last night, my husband and I went out to dinner...which was a lot of fun, since we rarely ever go out.

Work has been going great! Speaking of work, I better get back to it!

Tonight is an all new Secret Life of the American Teenager and then followed by an all new Make it or Break it (which I am starting to get addicted to). I am really excited to see them! I think a lot of people will tell you that Monday is their least favorite day, but I would have to say that it is one of my favorite!

Anyways..omg! So on Friday we (my husband and I) went out to eat and then went to the mall to look around and just mainly to get out of the house. When we went to the mall, we starting looking at rings to upgrade mine to. When we first got married we wanted to make sure that we were not spending money that we did not have. So, I found pretty much the ring of my dreams at Kay's....so we went home and talked and then on Saturday, we got up and went to a movie (The Lovely Bones - a really good movie) and then went back to the mall to make 100% sure it was the one that I wanted. So we looked at a bunch of rings again and I still came back to the same one that I picked out on Friday...long story short...I got the ring of my dreams . It is honestly the most beautiful ring I have ever seen!

On Sunday, we went to church and of course I had to show my ring off to everyone there! And they all loved it!

Wahoo! I am so glad it is Friday. Don't get me wrong, this week has been a good one and went by quite fast - but I am definitely ready for a couple days off!

Like I said in my last post, I am excited about next week! Secret Life of the American Teenager on Monday, and then 16 & Pregnant/Teen Mom on Tuesday! Not that I am wanting the weekend to go by fast, but I am just saying that I have something to look forward to on both Monday and Tuesday!

I plan on going to dinner with my hubby tonight...most likely (or atleast this is the place I want) we will go to Cheeburger Cheeburger (yes it is missing the "se"). I have only been there once and my hubby hasn't ever been. It is delicious! If you like a good cheeseburger and fries (and shakes), it is definitely the place to go. I haven't asked him yet, but I am sure he will be all for the idea!

Well, I guess I better get to work to make sure everything is done in time for the weekend!

Wow! I am so happy that tomorrow is Friday! I have a feeling that today is going to be a really good day!

So, this Sunday is Valentine's Day, is anyone doing anything special? I still have to figure out what I am going to get my hubby...but other than a small present, we most likely won't do anything. Well, we might go out for lunch on Sunday after church or something like that, but nothing too special. Valentine's Day is a little over rated in my opinion. There shouldn't be just one day out of the year that you show affection to the one you care about...I think that should 365 days a year...not just on February 14th.

This coming Tuesday is the premiere of the new 16 & Pregnant/ Teen Mom! I got hooked on that show this past season and it is weird, but you really get attached to all the people.

I am excited about next week now! Yay!

Today's Bible study is going to be on Love and we will be reading out of 1 Corinthians 13.

* One things these verses say, is that no matter what goes on in your life, Love will never fail you. When you Love God with all your heart, then no matter what comes along in your life, you will be able to overcome.

* Another thing these verses say, is that even if we have great power, wealth, knowledge, etc... we are NOTHING without Love.

* Love never fails - what a great thought!

I personally love these verses, because they are so true and I can really apply them to my life. Also, these verses were read at my wedding, so I cherish them deeply.

I know that I said I would post a Bible Study last night when I got home, but I got so busy and I will post one tonight.

Work has been quite busy lately and I think it will only get busier (since the boss will be gone Wed, Thurs, and Fri).

Anyways...my sister sent me some pictures of my niece yesterday and I already miss them so much! In the pictures she is playing outside their rabbits pen. I miss them a lot and hope we can go visit them soon!

Last night my show was on (Secret Life of the American Teenager) and I am so into it now! For those who don't watch it or don't know anything about it..It is a show that follows the lives of some teenagers and the things that go on in their lives. Well a girl named Amy went to band camp and ended up hooking up with a guy named Ricky. Long story short, Amy and Ricky had a baby boy named John. Currently Amy and Ricky aren't together as this one girl named Adrian loves Ricky. So the best part about last night was that Ricky and Amy kissed and hopefully that means that they will get back together (or at least that is what I have been hoping for a long time)! Anyways I will have to wait until next Monday to see if that kiss (well kisses) meant anything between them.

Tonight The Biggest Loser is on, but I haven't been able to get into it this season. I might watch it tonight to see if I can get into it, but I don't like the show at all this season!
